Is ARA Experience the right fit for me?

If you are a bride that has gone out wedding dress shopping and you are finding that you are wanting elements from various dresses and wanting to combine them, then we are the perfect fit for you.

We have created many different bodices and skirts which you can mix-and-match right here in our studio (or at our trunk shows) to create your dream dress silhouette. We can then have a look at our library of laces which will make your dress completely unique.  

By having our bodices ready for you to try on, you are able to see the dress being designed on your body right in front of you, you won’t need to imagine anything! 

What is the process?

Our process is one of the parts of our business that we believe sets us apart from the rest.

Do you custom make all your wedding dresses?

Yes, we custom-make all of our wedding dresses right here in our Adelaide Studio.

We strongly believe that keeping all of our production in Australia is the best way to guarantee that the dress is made ethically, sustainably and accurately to provide al our brides the best dress that they can get. 

Being custom-made means that you are able to a big part of the design process, and you can create a dress that is uniquely yours. 

What if I can't find exactly what I want?

We have many different bodices and skirts that we can mix-and-match with you to create your perfect dress. We believe that we have chosen all of the most common styles but if none of our options are exactly what you are wanting, we may still be able to help you.

We are always looking to increase our range so if you do have something that is very different, come and have a chat with us and we will see if we are able to help you. If we can’t do exactly what you are after, we will always be able to suggest an alternative. 

Do you cater to interstate brides?

YES! We are constantly travelling around Australia and visiting all of the major cities for our trunk shows. We pack up our studio in Adelaide into suitcases, hop onto a plane, and set up a nice little space in a hotel suite.

Where are you located?

We have our own studio and showroom at 172 Gilles St, ADELAIDE.

We are constantly travelling around Australia for our trunk shows so if you are not in Adelaide, you won’t be missing out!

When is the best time to book in?

We recommend that you book in with us 6 to 9 months prior to your wedding. This allows us time to design the dress with you, have two fittings to ensure the fit is perfect, and get the dress to with plenty of time to spare before the wedding. 

What happens if I gain or lose weight?

As we are custom-made, we create your dress to your specific body measurements.

We completely understand that bodies change over time and that is why we have our two fittings. This ensures that we are keeping up-to-date with your body and making any changes that are necessary.

How much is shipping?

If you are one of our interstate brides, we charge an additional $100 shipping. This includes us shipping your lining dress to you and back to us, and shipping your final wedding dress to you.
